The rules for using the BusinessGrrix App, in plain words: how plans and UPI payments work, what happens when a plan ends, and what each of us is responsible for.
The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Deepa Katkar, trading as BusinessGrrix (“we”, “us”). They apply when you use this website or the BusinessGrrix App. By creating a studio account or paying for a plan, you accept them on behalf of your business.
Website Creation is covered by a separate written agreement we sign with each client; where that agreement and these terms differ, that agreement applies to the website work.
The BusinessGrrix App
The app is business management software for studios, built separately for each industry we support. Each studio gets its own private space, with an owner who manages the account, the team and the subscription.
- The owner is responsible for who they invite and what role each person has.
- Keep sign-in details private. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms for your business.
Plans and limits
Each industry has its own plans. A plan sets limits, such as the number of active projects, storage and team members, and which features are included. The current plans and prices are shown in the app before you choose.
When you reach a limit, the app tells you; you can upgrade, or complete or remove items to make room. Your existing data is never deleted because of a limit.
Paying by UPI
Plans are paid in advance, monthly, quarterly or yearly, by UPI:
- Choose a plan and billing cycle in the app. The price is fixed for that plan and cycle when you choose.
- Pay the amount shown to the UPI ID or QR code shown, with the reference shown.
- Upload the payment screenshot (and the UPI transaction ID if you have it). One payment can be waiting for verification at a time.
- Provisional access: as soon as you submit, you get full access for up to 3 days while we verify the payment.
- Approved: your plan runs until the end of the paid period (the last paid day is shown on the Billing page), and a receipt is emailed to the owner.
- Rejected: if we cannot match the payment, provisional access ends, we tell you why, and you can submit again. A screenshot that was already used for another payment is flagged and checked.
Submitting a false or altered payment proof is a serious breach and can lead to suspension. We are not currently registered for GST.
Renewal, grace and read-only mode
- Reminders: the owner gets an email 7 days and 3 days before the paid period ends, and on the last day.
- Grace: for 7 days after the paid period ends, everything keeps working while you renew.
- Read-only: after the grace days, the studio becomes read-only. You and your team can still sign in, see everything, download PDFs and reports, send existing bills and reminders, and record payments from your clients. Creating or changing anything else waits until you renew.
- Renewing from the Billing page at any time, including in read-only mode, restores full access once the payment is submitted.
Plans do not renew or charge you automatically; nothing is taken from your account without you paying.
Upgrades, downgrades and price changes
- Upgrade any time while your plan is paid: you pay only the difference for the days left in the current period, and the new limits apply once you submit the payment.
- Downgrade takes effect from your next renewal, if your current use fits the smaller plan. The app tells you what to reduce first.
- Price changes never affect a period you have already paid for. The price you chose stays the same while you renew the same plan and cycle; we will tell you at least 30 days before any change to it.
Your data
Everything your studio puts in the app stays yours. We use it only to run the app for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the information you store about your clients and team: that you have the right to store it, that it is accurate, and that you tell your clients how you use it. When you invite clients to the client portal, they see only their own records.
Fair use
You agree not to:
- use the app for anything unlawful, or to store content you have no right to store;
- try to reach another studio’s data, break the app’s security, or overload it;
- copy, resell or rent the app, or build a competing product from it;
- share one studio account between separate businesses.
Suspension and closing an account
We may suspend a studio if it breaks these terms, submits false payment proof, puts the service or other studios at risk, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we will warn the owner first and explain how to fix it. A suspended studio can still sign in and view its records; contact support@businessgrrix.com to resolve it.
You can stop using the app at any time by not renewing. To have your studio closed and its data deleted, the owner can email us (see the Privacy Policy for what we must keep by law).
Availability and support
We work to keep the app running and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or a provider’s outage. Support is by email at support@businessgrrix.com on working days. We improve the app over time; we will not remove a core feature of your plan during a period you have paid for.
Responsibility and limits
The app helps you run your business; decisions, bills, tax filings and advice to your clients remain your responsibility. Check what you send to clients and authorities.
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to settle any disagreement by talking to you. If that fails, the courts at Chandrapur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; we will change the date at the top and email studio owners about important changes before they apply. Questions: support@businessgrrix.com. Refunds are covered in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
